Our Heart
The desire for beauty is more than skin deep. It is felt in every part of our being as a yearning to be whole, seen and chosen. To be loved. To be treasured. This desire is easily misplaced toward other’s opinions on our spaces, bodies, thoughts and choices, but truly, it is the desire for eternity which Ecclesiastes 3:11 says God set in our hearts. We know it’s from God because this desire points us toward Him. Our Maker and Perfecter. The One who is holy, pure, righteous, all encompassing, love, wholeness and beauty itself. Our mission is to guide women and their desire for beauty back to the Lord for restoration of His design; that they would live a rich and satisfying life, feeling beauty in their minds, hearts, souls, bodies and communities.
The Problem
Hustle culture and perceived stress threaten mental, physical, spiritual and social wellbeing, hindering the ability to maintain loving relationships with God, oneself and others. This issue is particularly confronting for Christian women who strive to achieve the most in their workplace, ministry and home, as their commitments tend to outweigh wellbeing, causing their cup to run dry.
Current wellness brands and faith based events are not sufficient when addressing this issue because they approach wellbeing pillars in isolation or lack the grounding of Biblical truth. There is a need for a new solution that integrates Biblical teaching into wellness and self care practices to support mental, physical, spiritual and social wellbeing.
Our Solution

+ Faith Resources
+ Body Care
+ Community Events
Talitha Cumi is to be a wellness brand which focuses on the returning to and restoration of God’s design, the fostering of community and gentle correction within each of the wellbeing pillars.
We focus on the way modern stress has impacted lifestyle choices, state of mind and the body. For many women, stress causes problems with digestion, skin and mental health, ultimately causing a warped perception of beauty.
Our goal is to speak life and identity into women and help create a routine of devotion (acts of love and care) for self, others and God.

Our Name
The name Talitha Cumi was taken directly from scripture (Mark 9:41). In the story, Jesus spoke these words to raise a girl from death. In a room of those who believed she was dead, Jesus said that she was simply sleeping. The miracle of a resurrection came to a girl who everyone thought was too far gone.
“Why are you making a commotion and weeping? The child is not dead but sleeping.” ... Taking her by the hand he said to her, “Talitha cumi,” which means, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.” And immediately the girl got up and began walking”
Mark 5:39b-42a, ESV Bible
We believe the little girl inside of a stressed, broken, anxiety ridden woman isn’t dead, she’s sleeping… ready for Jesus to step in and awaken her.
